June 23 - I was leaving my friend’s house last Thursday night when I noticed this skid mark veering off to the curb. I liked the graphic nature of it, and the way it missed the big “25″ marking. Nighttime always provides cool, weird light…I didn’t bring my tripod, so I set the camera on the top of the car and tinkered until I got the composition I liked. There were a couple more frames that I liked a lot, but decided on this one for the photo of the day because it emphasizes what initially attracted me to the scene - that big skid mark.
